Our car sports the larger 4.7-litre double overhead camshaft V8 power plant married to a five-speed ZF manual gearbox. This is one of 458 Mexicos and as such a rare car in its own right, but even rarer in this restored condition.

Coachbuilt by Italian studio Vignale, it makes for a serious GT car with ample room for four people to zoom across continents at speed. It is presented with very low mileage in striking Burgundy Metallic with well-appointed cream leather, power steering and electric windows. Another desriable feature is the rare central lock Borrani wire wheels, which really set the car off.
