1969 Aston Martin DBS Vantage ZF

 

This well sorted example, the like of which starred in Bond Film; “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” was supplied new in April 1970 by HR OWEN to a Mr Newman.Chassis no DBS/5498/R is one of 290 cars fitted with the 325 bhp triple Webber Carbs. ( Rarer still in RHD Manual).

This example has the feel of a car that has always been cherished and Pampered , in fact in 2006 the car was the subject of a full restoration ( pictures on File).

In 2014 further works were completed by official factory HERITAGE service centre on a gearbox rebuild.

In 2015 the then owner passed the car to renowned Aston Martin Specialists Pugsley and Lewis and clearly gave the brief ;do all and anything to make this :”one of the best” AM DBS Vantages anywhere ( there is an invoice on file for £30k +)
